Mormon Sister Wives, Joe and Norma Rae Thomas, couldn’t be any more different. Norma Rae is a born and raised Mormon housewife with a sunny disposition and Josephine is a chain-smoking, sourpuss who left a life of crime behind.

The unlikely pair is struggling to fit into their new hometown in the middle of nowhere Texas—amidst nosey neighbors, over-friendly pastors and curious cops—when they begin to uncover secrets about their husband Tom that threaten to turn their world upside down.

The two must come together through comedy, music and MURDER?! to save, and eventually find, themselves. Join Sarah Jean and Peyton as they bring this colorful cast of characters to life through music, mayhem and wigs! Will Joe and Norma Rae discover the true meaning of sisterhood… or will their husband’s past catch up with them first?

Sarah Jean Peters moved up to Chicago to pursue comedy about a decade ago, but who's counting? Orignially from Montgomery, AL she graduated from both state colleges and football rivals. Auburn University, where she received her BFA in Theatre and The University of Alabama where shen went on to obtain a Master's in Theatre and Education. Once landed in Chicago she attended both state "comedy colleges", Second City and iO, just to keep things even. Once graduated, again, she took to the stage peforming improv and sketch comedy at these theatres, as well as right here at The Annoyance. She's best known for her work with the sketch comedy group Huggable Riot, and her previous sketch comedy show with Peyton Lynch, You're Invited to Sarah Jean and Peyton's Slumber Party. When she's not preparing for the opening of Sarah Jean and Peyton are Sisterwives, she's working on her short play about divorce and depression, The Grief Project (OMG FUN) or guesting on one of her friends podcasts, or most likely cuddling her cat. She and Peyton are thrilled to be bringing Sarah Jean and Peyton are Sisterwives to life at the Annoyance and can't wait to see you all there!
