Shaan Baig
Shaan Baig is a comedian, actor, and writer now based in Chicago after several years of being a staple in the LA sketch comedy scene at theaters like UCB, The Elysian, and Dynasty Typewriter. He was named a New Face of Comedy (Characters) at the Just For Laughs Festival in 2022. His videos have amassed millions of views and have been featured on Vulture, Funny or Die, and BuzzFeed. He is a founding member of The Get Brown – UCB’s first all-South Asian sketch team. Past credits at UCB include Maude Night, Characters Welcome, and Asian AF. He also co-hosted the Bollywood Boys Podcast with Saagar Shaikh, which was profiled on NPR. TV credits include A Little Late with Lilly Singh (NBC). His new solo show "SHAANANIGANS" is sweeping audiences off their damn feet in a whirlwind of singing, dancing, quietly reflecting on the modern South Asian-American identity, and rapping.
