Course Description:


Looking to add some more physicality to your comedy game?  Movement & Clowning focuses on finding your OWN funny by means of physicality, clown theory, and advanced character development techniques.  This course is built to amplify any student's Improv, Sketch, & Standup bits by honing your ‘Physical Intelligence’.  In this course you’ll cover:

Bio:

Scarlett is a NJ born comedian, actress, clown, improviser, voice-over artist, dancer, writer, and acrobatics coach, who has recently relocated back to Chicago after touring with the circus!  She’s best known for her work traveling while with Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus as a world-famous Circus Clown & member of Clown Alley for nearly 5 years.  She has attended Governor’s School of the Arts and was crowned NJ State Dance Champion. Scarlett has studied sketch and improv with Upright Citizen’s Brigade, The Magnet Theater, and People’s Improv Theater, The Second City, iO, and The Annoyance. She has a BFA in Theater with a concentration in Acting from Columbia College Chicago.  She speaks fluent Spanish at home with her Paraguayan circus family, and enjoys reading high-fantasy novels and riding her electric motorcycle around town.
