AUDITION: Indie Film "INCAUTIOUS" (non- Annoyance)

Seeking Actors/Actresses for Dramedy Feature Film-"Incautious" (Chicago, IL)

“Incautious” Plot Summary:

A stay-at-home mother struggles to watch over her children as she finds herself addicted to alcohol and other drugs. A broken

man takes out his anguish on his wife and children.

Goals for the Project:

I am trying to create a slow burning, tense, thought provoking, dramedy story with very complex characters that convey a wide range of emotions. In addition to giving extensive verbal notes during rehearsals, I provide in-depth written character notes regarding their past along with a Scene-by-Scene analysis for each character. I possess a very close attention to detail and specific vision regarding my characters. I am a very calm person who will never yell at actors/actresses or crew and will treat everyone with the most respect.

Breakdown:

Jen Eaton (Mark and Sarah’s Mom) (Female)-20’s-60’s (Lead):

Warm, upbeat and friendly, but also a bit neurotic and emotional (which becomes heightened when she is under the influence of alcohol or other

substances), Jennifer gets along with most of her peers and always does her best to make sure that everyone aroun d her is taken care of. She has

strong body posture, speaks at a normal pace and smiles often.

Mark Eaton (Male)-8-16 (Lead):

Kind and loyal, but stubborn and defensive, Mark is a great ally to those he cares about but can be hostile when bullied into a corner. He speaks

calmly and slowly, unless he feels that he is being attacked, in which the volume and speed of his voice increase drastically.

Clyde Briggs (Jimmy and Katie’s Dad) (Male)- 20’s-60’s (Lead):

Sharp, intelligent and full of personality, Clyde is fierce and charismatic, but his negative outlook on life, impatient attitude and horrible temper

often alienate himself from others. He speaks very fast and loudly.

Jimmy Briggs (Male)-8-16 (Lead):

Fun, loud, energetic and passionate, but also a bit selfish and emotional at times, Jimmy is often the center of attention as he shares his hobbies

and interests with his wide circle of friends, especially Mark. He speaks quickly and is very animated with his facial expressions and hand

gestures.

Katie Briggs (Female)-8-18 (Lead):

Cool, calm and very passionate about sports, Katie often hangs out with the boys and can more than handle her own on the sports field. She

laughs and smiles often but rarely conveys much emotion beyond that.

Matt Eaton (Mark and Sarah’s Dad) (Male)-20’s-60’s (Lead):

Calm, quiet and quite agreeable, but also blunt and ill-tempered at times, Matt is a very easygoing guy who prioritizes keeping others around him

happy but will put his foot down when needed and is the last person who you want to start a fight with. He has strong body posture, eye contact,

and he speaks slowly and calmly.

Kristen Briggs (Jimmy and Katie’s Mom) (Female)- 20’s-60’s (Lead):

Kind and warm on the inside, but loud, angry, impatient and intense on the surface, Kristen can be quite intimidating, particularly while being

pushed into a corner by her husband Clyde. She has strong body posture, a loud voice and one of the most intense screams imaginable.

Sarah Eaton (Female)-4-13 (Lead):

Shy, kind and easygoing, but also a bit overly sensitive, Sarah is the adorable little sister that everyone would hope for. She speaks softly and

slowly.

Courtney (Female)- 20’s-60’s (Lead):

Intelligent and caring, but stoic, Courtney is a great listener who has plenty of compassion, even if she sometimes has trouble conveying this fact.

She has stiff body posture, speaks calmly and slowly.

Tyler (Mark and Sarah’s First Cousin) (Male)- 18-30’s (Support):

Upbeat and energetic, Tyler is a fun spirited individual who gets along well with others but is a bit of a troublemaker who s ometimes bends the

rules. He speaks fast and smiles and laughs frequently.

Dylan (Male)-8-16 (Support):

Intelligent, charismatic and honest, but also defensive and ill tempered, Dylan is someone who you want on your side and definitely someone you

do not want to start an argument with. He talks a lot, reacts quickly and speaks fast.

This audition call for “Incautious” really highlights the depth and complexity of indie filmmaking and character work. After reading about detailed projects like this, I often play World Guesser which is a geography game where you explore locations worldwide using visual clues and test your knowledge of the world.

Source cited kitchenaid customer service phone number I reached out to customer service for assistance with my mixer, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The representative was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely caring, making me feel valued as a customer. They guided me through the troubleshooting process with patience and clarity, which left me feeling hopeful about resolving my issue. It's refreshing to encounter such dedicated support, and it reassures me that I made the right choice in investing in KitchenAid products. I look forward to many more years of cooking with my reliable mixer!

As someone who has auditioned for indie films, I appreciate the insights on navigating that often overwhelming process, Geometry Dash Lite. Your take on embracing vulnerability resonates deeply; I remember my first audition where I felt so exposed yet liberated. Keep sharing these reflections!
