Audition (Non-Annoyance)

**PLEASE NOTE - THIS AUDITION HAS A REQUIRED SUBMISSION PAYMENT - we will always bring to your attention any audition that does so.

On behalf of Decentralized Pictures (DCP), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting independent filmmakers & actors by connecting creative talent with new opportunities...

We’re currently hosting the Kevin Smith Casting Award, an exciting opportunity for actors to audition for a role in Kevin Smith’s next movie, with up to two roles available.

The process is open to performers of all genders and backgrounds, and no professional acting experience is required. Participants simply record themselves performing the provided audition lines and submit their video for consideration. We encourage actors of all genders to participate - this is a demonstration of talent. The DCP community reviews and votes on the auditions, with the top-rated submissions reviewed by Kevin Smith himself. Travel expenses for the production shoot will also be covered for those cast.

We believe this could be a great way for aspiring performers to gain exposure and take a step toward working on a feature film.

A quick note on the submission fee: The $25 fee goes entirely into a shared pool that incentivizes community members to review submissions and vote for their favorite projects. Neither DCP nor Kevin Smith receives any portion of these fees.

Submissions are open until November 15, 2026.
