Hi! My name is Lee and I am a volunteer with Do What You Love to End Alzheimer's. Did you know that 1 in 3 seniors ends up with Alzheimer’s or dementia and a lot of people are hoping for an earlier diagnosis and a cure someday? One way to help is to fundraise! Alzheimer’s Association is the largest nonprofit, voluntary health organization that focuses on research, disease care/support, and advocacy. Will you consider supporting Do What You Love to End Alzheimer's? It can be something simple like an email blitz for donations or you can choose a fun fundraising event like (golf, bowling, running/biking/exercising, boating, mah-jongg, motorcycling, cooking, baking, crafts, karaoke, pickleball, bingo, tennis, chess, gala, bridge, dancing, plan a sports tournament/bracket, host a concert or party). Pick any favorite activity of yours, join the mission to help end Alzheimer's/dementia, and donate the funds from the event! If you would like to talk through how you can do this or how to coordinate this with other groups you know who might be interested, please contact Sharon Connolly at sbconnolly@alz.org or 847-324-0384. She can help you with ideas or you can register at www.alz.org/dowhatyoulove
