Swiped Improvised Thievery is a longform-improvised comedy show where the audience experiences the thrilling highs and lows of the heist genre alongside a colorful band of thieves. Join us each week as we assemble our crew and perform a thrilling heist to steal a valuable item suggested by the audience. And if something goes awry... well - It's all part of the plan.

Andrew Baldwin

Andrew Baldwin

Andrew Baldwin (he/him/his) is a musician, comedian, and actor from Wisconsin. Since moving to Chicago, he has trained at the Second City Conservatory and The Annoyance. He has performed as an understudy for Second City's 110th mainstage revue "Do The Right Thing, No Worries If Not", is an understudy for the Second City Touring Company, teaches at The Annoyance Theater, and is an ensemble member of Shamilton and Baby Wants Candy. Cody Lee Walker

Cody Lee Walker (He/Him/His) is one of the co-producers and cast members of SWIPED Improvised Thievery. He is an accomplished playwright, illustrator, and performer. He has a fondness for sketch comedy and is a 1995 baby pageant winner for Denver’s Chubbiest Cheeks.

Corey Drennon

Corey Drennon

Corey Eliza Drennon hails from Rock Hill, South Carolina. She has been studying and performing improv in Chicago for the past five years. When she's not performing, you can find her rolling dice with friends or fighting her vertigo on the CTA. Corey is thrilled to be working with such a talented cast.

Izzy Salhani

Izzy Salhani

Izzy Salhani is a standup comic and actor represented by Big Mouth Talent. Featured on the Sklar Brothers podcast as a promising up and comer in 2015, Izzy has since traveled nationwide performing their unique brand of dark humor, had a comedic song featured on a WGN podcast, and understudied for Second City's She The People. Tjey are also the creator and producer of Work Out Room

Joanna Bak

Joanna Bak

Joanna Bak is an actor, improvisor, educator, and Chicagi history buff. They Co-produce Chats with Snacks, a variety show with the Local Lab Co. Previous Annoyance credits include Chip Chats and Lo-Fi Improv To Study To.

Michael Coyne

Michael Coyne

Michael Coyne (He/Him) is the director of Swiped: Improvised Thievery. He’s originally from New York City, and moved to Chicago to blunt his East Coast edge with Midwest kindness. He mostly succeeded. Michael is a performer, director, and writer, with his comedy pilot Fief-Dumb recently picked as a finalist for the Chicago Screenplay Awards. He is beyond proud of his fantastic cast and is thrilled for you to see them perform.

Mike Mazella

Mike Mazella

Mike Mazzella is an improvisor, stand-up comedian, and sketch writer from Buffalo, NY. Mike has performed in a variety of comedic productions over the last ten years, and recently appeared in such shows as Swiped! Improvised Thievery, Starship Edsel, and Tomorrow Tonight. Mike is also a writer and contributor for the popular entertainment news channel Screen Crush. Mike is thrilled to work with this wonderfully talented cast, and hopes you enjoy the show! He would also like to thank his amazing partner, Daryn, for all of the love and encouragement.

Riley Rogers

Riley Rogers

Riley is originally from [Redacted], California and has been doing "comedy" in Chicago for a little bit. She is always writing new material with a dedicated team of other women who, when asked what they should call their sketch group, did not respond to her text. She loves doing improv for the fame and money and not for the love of the game.

Rose Gottlieb

Rose Gottlieb

Rose Gottlieb (she/her) is an improviser, storyteller and aspiring ventriloquist originally from Minneapolis. She has trained and performed improv around Chicago at theaters including iO, the Annoyance, CIC, and The Crowd (miss those wings). Outside of improvising Rose likes canoeing, doing jiu-jitsu, and solving puzzles, and hopes to someday participate in a heist that utilizes all of these skills.

Ryan Engelman

Ryan EngelmanRyan is so excited to be a part of this fantastic crew of improvised thieves. Ryan has studied at the IO theatre and has performed improv for over a decade. He loves craft cocktails and board game nights in between all things anime. Look out as he continues to perform around the city. He is looking forward to stealing your attention and maybe your wallets

Trey Burns

Trey Burns, a rising star in the acting realm, overcame a challenging childhood as a Victorian orphan in London to become a powerhouse in the entertainment industry. His early struggles fueled a passion for the arts, ultimately leading him to a breakout role in a period drama that catapulted him to stardom. With a magnetic on-screen presence and a knack for versatile performances, Trey seamlessly transitions between genres and eras. Beyond his acting prowess, he advocates for underprivileged youth, drawing from his own experiences to inspire and uplift others. As Trey's career continues to soar, audiences eagerly anticipate the next chapter in the remarkable journey of this resilient and authentic talent.

Veronica Rooney

Veronica Rooney

Veronica Rooney is a writer and improviser who grew up in the Chicago suburbs (yeesh). You can see Veronica on Wednesday nights at the Mariano’s on Chicago and Damen, or on Sunday nights performing with Midnight Snack for iO’s New Team Smell. She has trained at both iO and The Annoyance, and has hobnobbed around town with the best of ‘em. When she’s not performing, Veronica enjoys seeing live music, riding her bike, and smiling.
