Understudies will likely be asked to fill in for two parts each. NOTE: Right now, the parts we are looking for understudies for are masc-presenting characters. We strongly encourage performers of all gender expressions and identities to audition.

Note on Rehearsal/Show Process:
Due to the subject matter, actors seeking a role must be comfortable performing shirtless for most of the show. Some roles involve performing comedic, simulated sex acts. All intimacy coordination will take place in accordance with Chicago Theatre Standards, and regular consent check-ins will take place before rehearsals and performances.
Additionally, as the conversation around inclusion in gay spaces like Steamworks evolves, we want our show to reflect the evolution of that conversation. We strongly encourage actors of all gender expressions, racial and ethnic identities, fetish/kink cultures, and ability statuses with a connection to this topic to audition.

In the game Anomalous Coffee Machine, the player is immersed in a coherent and agitated environment, where each interaction with the coffee machine has the potential to alter the situation. Events are dynamically manipulated by players, who arrange and adjust elements in the shop to address bizarre phenomena and flee the room's chaos.
Saw a clip from this show after browsing a few entertainment forums and somehow ended up on reading about sweeps coins casino communities at the same time, which made the chaotic energy of this musical feel even funnier to me. The whole production sounds wild in the best way, like one of those performances where the audience laughs because nobody fully knows what’s coming next.
Retro Bowl offers a challenging team-building journey where players must make smart tactical decisions to maintain performance and aim for big wins.
I appreciate the creativity behind "Steamworks the Musical," but I wonder if infusing more interactive elements—similar to how Geometry Dash Subzero engages players with its dynamic challenges—could enhance audience involvement. Just a thought!
I love how this project reflects the evolution of conversations around inclusivity and the personal identity of the artist. It is really satisfying to see a casting call that is open and encourages all genders and ethnicities to shine together. Preparing for a role that requires such courage and understanding reminds me of the feeling of needing to fully master every movement in Drift Boss to keep the car on the right path and achieve the most complete success on the artistic stage.
