Jury Duty is a fully improvised courtroom comedy where the only thing on trial is sanity itself.
Each night, the cast creates a brand new legal disaster based on audience suggestion, questionable logic, and total chaos. Watch as the foreperson loses their mind, evidence makes things worse, and deliberations go off the rails.
No script, no rules, no justice. Just comedy

Lauren Rivas
LAUREN RIVAS is an actor, director, writer, producer, and teacher from Las Cruces, NM. She is the creator of Jury Duty, Live Laugh Blood, and After Hours Improv. Lauren was the original tech director and a founding cast member of Batsu! Chicago. Currently, Lauren serves as the Training Center Director at The Annoyance Theatre, where she also performs, directs, teaches, and produces. She is also a faculty member of the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. Recent credits include: Fire and Beer, Jury Duty, Live Laugh Blood (The Annoyance), LOL & Disorder (Coronation Theatre), Miss Brightside (Whiskey Radio Hour), Girl Party (comedy troupe), Agua De Verga (comedy troupe), Secret Family (comedy troupe), and Huggable Riot (comedy troupe).

Zach Decker
Zach Decker (he/him) is originally from Indianapolis, but has lived and performed in Chicago for almost a decade. He can be seen currently in Sketch Playlist at iO Theater, Mayhem Improv at Cosmic Underground, and 12 Angry Improvisers here at the Annoyance. Past Annoyance shows include Spider-Ben, It’s Christmas Goddamnit, Fan Fiction, Never Not Murder, and more. He is a proud graduate of Indiana University and the Second City Conservatory.
