That's right, Evangelikids is returning to The Annoyance Theater for another run, and audition submissions are now open!
We are casting three actors. We are casting for the roles of Benny Bingo, a Benny Bingo understudy, and a femme understudy to play one of the child characters and The Shadow/Stage Manager character. We are only casting adults in this production. All child characters will be played by adult actors.

Summary:
This satirical musical has equal parts heart and hilarity. The Evangelikids are a scrappy club of Christian preteens grappling with the very real, heavy implications of religious indoctrination through song and dance. Come and join them today!
As a Christian kid, maybe you grew up with Veggie Tales, Adventures in Odyssey, Psalty the Singing Songbook, or the Donut Man. But what sort of wholesome, Christian content do the kids of today have? They've got Benny Bingo and the Evangelikids!
Become an Evangelikid and meet us at the Flamingo Club House! We'll learn all about Jesus and the Gospel through songs, stories, games, and patriarchy! But when the cameras cut, it seems like some of the kids, and maybe even Benny Bingo himself, are starting to have questions....maybe even doubts?
Characters:
BENNY BINGO, male, 30s/40s The host of the show. His chipper, paternal onscreen persona masks a grumpier, sadder man, wistful about the regrets of a private past.
JOEY, non-binary, preteen Joey has never even heard of the concept of non-binary, so they still identify as female during this show, and most of the kids refer to them as Josephine. They are an energetic kid, very enthusiastic about their faith.
STAGE MANAGER/SHADOW, female, 20s/30sThe no-nonsense glue of the whole Evangelikids production, the STAGE MANAGER is also the show's puppeteer. In addition, this actor will play the character PERRY THE PEW ROACH, who is nightmare fuel for the children but comedic relief for the audience, and the SHADOW FIGURE, a manifestation of Benny's dark past. The actor playing this role will need to have comedic chops, strong singing skills, and great attention to detail.

An example of this would be the ability to driving directions display arrows and indicators directly on a live video feed, which would indicate exactly where to turn or which lane to follow. In particular, these advances improve clarity and eliminate ambiguity, which is especially beneficial in surroundings that are unfamiliar or complex.
